Friday #2: "I heard that in the Carmelite Convent, where nuns lead cloistered life, there is a swing in the attic. When the nuns have to deal with some kind of problem, when they feel angry or sad, they go to the attic and swing. Can you imagine the sight? The fluttering veil, the dangling feet in sandals. Wonderful. To paint a picture like that."
